What you will do
You will play a key role as our technical expert, supporting our sales team in winning strategic business with global OEMs and Tier 1 customers. From the initial customer interaction through to final nomination, you will support our sales team by leading technical discussions and negotiations with the customer’s technical stakeholders. To ensure InfiMotion offer is attractive, you will align with our cross-functional team and technical experts at our R&D centers in China.
As a central point of contact, you create clarity, alignment, and momentum across both internal teams and external stakeholders. At the same time, you actively contribute to strengthening our technical development approach by enhancing processes, tools, and ways of working to drive greater proactivity and improve win rates.
You will operate at the intersection of Technical Development, Business Development, Sales and Marketing turning insights and customer needs into commercial execution.
Tasks will include
Lead strategic initiatives on development of new technology
Manage customer dialogue throughout the sales process and in the project execution phase
Act as the technical lead for Inverter and/or E-machine for key opportunities, ensuring alignment internally and externally, when needed
Contribute to defining sales strategy, priorities, and direction together with the Manger Business Development
Strengthen collaboration with international teams, including China-based colleagues
We are looking for
Someone that has a natural passion for electrical Powertrain technology, business and understands what drives success!
To succeed as our Technical expert, you have proven experience from detailed development of Inverters and/or E-machines for Powertrain applications. On top of that, you have experience from sales or business development in a complex international environment (preferably automotive or similar industry) is an advantage.
To be successful in the role, you are a strong communicator who naturally builds alignment and clarity across stakeholders. You are confident in navigating complex discussions and to create understanding across functions, cultures and organizational levels. We take it for granted that you are fluent in English both orally and written.
You are a true commercial and strategic thinker, along with the ability to get things done. Working with finding affordable technical solutions which meet customer requirements is essential for the role and something that triggers you. As a person, you are comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and use to practice self-leadership.
You have strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.
You have a university degree in your field of expertise and hold a driver license category B.

Our Office;
The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.
For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.
If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
