Responsibilities
Join the dynamic Project Management team as our Project Quality Engineer where you'll play a crucial role.  In this role, you'll be a key person in quality planning, monitoring and continuous improvements through out the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with our global InfiMotion team supporting project managers, engineers and other stakeholders in meeting our quality objectives. You are expected to ensure that customers, regulatory and ISO certification requirements are integrated into our projects.

Tasks will include: 

Quality in Project Management

• Ensure quality is embedded in project execution.
• Conduct project risk assessments and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Review and improve project processes, documentation, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and customer requirements.

Software and Hardware development Support

• Support design reviews, technical assessments, and validation activities.
• Ensure changes are reviewed, tested, and implemented according to procedures.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineers to define quality metrics.

Verification & Validation

• Ensure test plans, acceptance criteria, and validation processes are followed.
• Monitor non-conformities, defects, and corrective actions in project execution.
• Ensure continuous improvement based on quality data and lessons learned.

Supplier Production Oversight

• Define and enforce quality requirements for production partners.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with QMS standards.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues before final delivery.

Compliance & Audits

• Support internal and external audits related to project execution.
• Ensure project documentation meets ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
• Track and implement corrective/preventive actions

We are looking for

Someone with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Project Engineer or similar role with a preference for automotive experience. It is a merit if you have project management experience. We believe that you have a BSc within a related engineering field and it is a plus if you have a MSc in Quality or Project management. 

As a person you are excellent with details and a real problem solver. In parallel you have the ability to analyze data and metrics to assess quality levels and identify trends. To succeed in the role you have documented expertise in tools like statistical analysis and quality management systems (QMS) and a deep understanding of relevant quality standards (such as ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements. 

We take it for granted that you are self-motivated enough to take ownership and drive your area with proactiveness and successful completion.

Collaboration is key for us so you are a true team player with strong communication skills. You are fluent in English and if you have a knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, Swedish or German it is a plus.

Our Office;
The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.

For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.

If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
