Responsibilities
As our Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) you will play a core role within our organization. Being responsible for the quality of software work products, vehicle application projects, platform projects and advanced engineering projects.
In the role you will collaborate closely with software, hardware, and system engineers to ensure that project activities align with the development processes and are compliant to the relevant standard.
You will be a part of creating something from start and ready for the future.
Tasks will include:
- Coordinate and lead internal expertise in RFI and RFQ responses regarding SWQA Topics.
- Subject matter expert in SWQA and Process/ASPICE matters
- Ensure InfiMotion software process activities and work products comply to the quality assurance goals and objectives.
- Ensure process non compliances are detected and managed within the project including also related interfaces
- Represent the project in SWQA discussions with the customer.
- Ensure that SWQA risks are managed in a timely manner.
- Support the creation and implementation of company quality standards.
- Accomplish quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Train and motivate employees to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing to information analysis.
- Develop Software quality assurance plans by conducting risk analyses and monitoring procedures.
- Validate Software quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes.
- Maintain and improve software quality by completing software compliance audits.
- Prepare software quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
We are looking for
Someone with a minimum of 3 years experience in SWQA activities and process improvement. You have experience from automotive projects according to ASPICE, ideally in the field of electric drive systems. To succeed in the role you have documented expertise in process design and solid experience from development of complex automotive embedded systems and knowledge of ISO26262 & 21434
We believe that you have a BSc or MSc within engineering in a related subject. If you have a ASPICE assessor degree or similar it is a merit. Another plus is international experience, preferably from Asia and China.
You are an excellent communicator with professional negotiation skills that naturally drives successful dialogues with senior management and external customers. As a person you are open-minded, pragmatic and when needed a hands on mind-set. We take it for granted that you are self-motivated enough to take ownership and drive your area with proactiveness and successful completion.
Collaboration is key for us so you are a true team player that likes to inspire others. You are fluent in English (written and orally) and if you have a knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, Swedish or German it is a plus.

Our Office;
The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.
For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.
If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
