Responsibilities
Our Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the company's international trade operations, particularly in electric driveline components, are compatible to all applicable trade laws, regulations, and company policies. The specialist will stay abreast of evolving trade policies and international trade agreements that may impact the company’s global operations. We want you to take lead and form our sustainability strategy. You will be part of creating something from start and ready for the future.
Tasks will include:
Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to international, national, and regional trade laws
- Implement and manage the company's trade compliance policies and procedures for electric driveline components and technologies.
- Coordinate and process export/import licenses, permits, and other trade-related documentation.
Regulatory Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze changes in international trade policies, sanctions, and tariff regulations that could affect the business.
- Collaborate with global regulatory authorities and keep internal stakeholders informed about new regulations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the engineering, supply chain, procurement, and legal teams to ensure compliance with export control classifications, product categorization, and country-specific regulations.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on trade compliance requirements and best practices.
Documentation and Recordkeeping
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of required customs documentation (import/export declarations, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Maintain detailed records of all trade compliance activities, transactions, and documentation in accordance with company and legal requirements.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain related to trade compliance and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Conduct internal audits of trade compliance processes and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers, logistics providers, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with all international trade regulations.
- Ensure all suppliers are compliant with relevant trade regulations and standards
We are looking for
Someone with passion for sustainability. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in the automotive or electric driveline sector. We believe that you have a bachelors degree in International Business, Supply chain Management or another related field.
To be successful in the role you have strong knowledge of global trade laws, including export controls, customs regulations, and tariff classifications. You are excellent with details and a real problem solver.
As a person you have strong communications skills and enjoy working cross functional in a global environment. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, orally and written. Collaboration is key for us so you are a true team player.

Our Office;
The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.
For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.
If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
